What are "Things"?

"Things" are topics of interest whose Relevance to People and Places affect their Current Hotness.

A Thing has a name, an optional search term, and an Importance that you set.

Importance is expressed as a percentage, where 99% is extremely important, and 1% is virtually not important at all.

When Myallo HotList calculates the Current Hotness of a Person or Place, one of the things it may do is check each Thing on the Things Screen, to see if any of the information it has on the Person or Place matches the Thing name or search term. If it does, a Relevance to that Person or Place is calculated, and that Relevance enters in to the calculation of Current Hotness.

The Explain Screen for a particular Person or Place shows any relevances to Things that were found during the calculation of the Person or Place's Current Hotness.
