Button Setup

The "Name" of a button appears on the Screen Setup and Button Library screens.

The "Label" is the text that appears on the button itself. You can include Button Label Codes to show symbols or special characters on the button.

The "Action" specifies what happens when the button is touched. You can include text and Button Action Codes to send command or control keystrokes, or to specify actions the button should perform. Most buttons don't send plain text, rather they send command or control keystrokes that invoke menu commands for an application the remote computer is running. To do that, button action codes are required.
