It is rare that I can't unfreeze it by plugging it into my PC. Sometimes it takes a few minutes, but then it beeps and comes back to life. The problem is that I get the logo screen so often that it isn't practical to take it far from the PC.. I thought it might be related to the battery since I rarely see it when it is charging on the PC. I replaced the battery but still have the problem. Try it again with the sync cable hooked up. That might be necessary with the current system. I've added an update in that post saying this.
